Soak up the full atmosphere of the War and Peace Revival by camping onsite at the Folkestone Racecourse between Monday 20 and Monday 27 July and be part of this incredible festival from dusk til dawn!
Camping includes your entry to the spectacular show each day, but also gives you access to the show in the evening when the pace slows down and it takes on a whole new atmosphere! Watch the exhibitors promenade around the site or sing around their camp fires – you can also get up close and personal with all the vehicles and their owners away from the public.
Dine at your camp or at our Battle of Britain restaurant, then drop in to any of the free evening entertainment – exclusively for all those staying on site. When you book your camping you will receive free admission to a weeklong programme of fantastic entertainment – and with three venues you will be spoiled for choice! On Wednesday 22 July join The Devil’s Cut Combo for a ‘Blues and Boogie Extravaganza’. With foot tapping, authentic 1950s RnB, Rockin’ Blues and Boogie Woogie, you’ll be partying all night long. Or how about popping in to Radio Days – a 1940s variety show or more modern music in the form of Kent band Heroes?
On Thursday 23 July go back to the Sixties with The Misunderstood featuring the awesome talent of Sophie Garner. Dance the night away to a unique blend of Northern Soul and early Sixties Rhythm and Blues. Alternatively say “hi de hi!” to the Waplins Holiday Camp entertainment evening or dance to local seven piece band Caution Horses! On Friday 24 July you can either enjoy The Vintage Cabaret Club – with a late night saucy vintage show – party to The Kingsdown Band or buy tickets to our special evening with the UK’s number one Jive and Swing band ‘The Jive Aces’.
Our final evening is Saturday 25 July when you can boogie to the New Notes and watch a repeat of the fabulous Vintage Cabaret Club! Our special ticketed show is the fabulous John Miller with his Orchestra in an unforgettable evening of live music in tribute to his famous uncle, Glenn Miller. There is also an exclusive opportunity to dine with your favourite stars from the popular 1980s BBC sitcom ‘Allo ‘Allo!
Camp out at the War and Peace Revival to enjoy the site after the day visitors have departed and receive a free show programme! The cost of public camping covers your entry fee to the event and is priced from just £90 for adults and £65 for children.
