Sarah Jane- Bringing you music from the golden days

Sarah – Jane’s voice will take you back to the golden days,  a time when music played a major role in raising the spirits of Britain.

Based in Lincolnshire, Sarah-Jane is willing to travel to just about anywhere in order to bring to you my 1940s music and songs setting the perfect tone to any event.

The act is very versatile and will “electrify the crowd with a classic style using her voice of pure sunshine”.

A 1940’s singer can be applied to a whole host of events:

Community functions, Birthday party’s, Christmas functions, New Years eve events, Battle of Britain Balls, Vintage Tea Parties, Vintage Fairs, Miltary Re-enctment and militaria events etc.

Some of my most prestigious performances have been on live radio as well as in the officers messes here at RAFC Cranwell for dining in evenings and more recently performing at the Lincolnshire show and closing ceremony as a result of winning Lincolnshire’s got Talent with Lincs FM.

My sets include music from the 1920’s to 1940s with many of the hits from the Andrews Sisters, Vera Lynn, Ella Fitzgerald and I am also able to perform the hits of Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw and Glenn Miller with me also being a professional clarinettist.

Besides singing I and am a WAAF re-enactor and have taken part in events along side “Just Jane” one of the few remaining Avro Lancasters. I feel being a WAAF re-enactor and singer confirms my love for not just the music of the era but also an interest into the history.
